Annual ministry update

We are thankful for everyone who joined us in prayer and giving last year—your partnership has an impact! Because of you, we are able to provide care to the homeless regardless of what is going on in the world around us.

Here is an overview of statistics from 2022:

Meals provided: 12,460

Nights of shelter: 3,559

New guests: 108

Years in operation: 116

The number of meals and nights of shelter provided in 2022 were noticeably higher than 2021, while 2021 was a below-average year.

Your Support
Last year, we received many donated items that are used in our daily ministry—including food, personal care, and housekeeping supplies. Financial support increased slightly last year, and your giving completely covered expenses for the year. We are thankful for the trust you have placed in our ministry, and we appreciate your faithfulness in helping us care for others.

Ongoing Commitment
People come to the Mission when they have nowhere else to turn. We look forward to opportunities to provide physical care—and more importantly—a message of hope to those who are facing despair. Although we have been understaffed, we have continued providing services without interruption. Please pray that we will be able to fill open positions soon. With your support, we remain committed to upholding biblical truth, proclaiming the gospel, and serving others in Jesus' name.

Ministry staffing and Camp Roberts plans

In addition to current openings at the Mission, we need to hire a full complement of staff for our summer day camp at Camp Roberts. We've been promoting these openings, but we need your help to reach even more people with this information. We are happy to provide printed materials including brochures and flyers summarizing current openings. You may also direct people to our website at limamission.org/ministry-team for a list of current openings, complete job descriptions, and an employment application.

Grant allows purchase of laundry equipment

A generous grant recently allowed us to purchase new washers and dryers to replace units that had reached the end of their useful life. These are used daily by residents and for housekeeping. We appreciate this gift!

Meal volunteer opportunity

Would your church, business, or family be interested in joining us to serve meals? This activity is ideal for a small group and is a great way to get involved in hands-on ministry to the homeless. We provide meals every day, and the time of serving and cleanup runs from 4:30–6:00 P.M. You can serve as a one-time activity or on a monthly basis. We are also looking for groups who are interested in providing meals! If you would like to get involved in this ministry, please contact Chuck at 567-242-5601, or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
